ROBERTO FANTINI
Born in Rome in 1960, Fantini is a multifaceted artist whose style has been profoundly shaped by extensive sojourns in Asia. His recent work explores universal archetypes, such as faceless adolescents and natural creatures, evoking a magnetic balance between vitality and subtle restlessness. Through a layered technique that blends acrylic, graphite, and collages of precious materials—Japanese paper and ancient manuscripts—Fantini creates textured surfaces populated by hybrid figures. The result is a recognizable and symbolic aesthetic, capable of transforming the silence of anonymous faces into an intensely emotional narrative of identity and harmony.
